Terms and Conditions

Last updated 5 October 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt) when you use Grantlark. By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of Grantlark, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use Grantlark.

We have written these Terms in plain English, using the exact wording only where the law requires it. If anything is unclear, write to hello@grantlark.com.

1. Who we are

Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Belziger Str. 69-71

10823 Berlin

Germany

HRB 285589 B, Amtsgericht Charlottenburg

Managing Director: Oussama Bentaib

Email: hello@grantlark.com

Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms and is incorporated by reference.

2. What Grantlark does

Grantlark monitors published funding programmes, compares them against a profile you build describing your company, and shows you the ones it judges relevant. Depending on your plan it includes:

  • A company profile you create describing what your company does.
  • A matched feed of open funding programmes from eight official registers: the EU Funding and Tenders Portal, published by the European Commission, and the national registers of Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Portugal, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. Every register is included on every plan, including the free one.
  • On paid plans, a written reason on each match and a check for the conditions that would rule you out.
  • A deadline view for the programmes that carry one, and the ability to save or dismiss individual programmes.
  • An explanation of why a programme was matched, and a place to tell us the match was wrong.
  • A daily digest email to an address you choose.

Features described on our website as planned or coming soon are not part of what you buy until they exist. We may change, add to or withdraw features; Section 12 applies where a change materially reduces what you have paid for.

3. What Grantlark is not

Grantlark does not guarantee that you will see every funding programme relevant to you. It is a monitoring aid, not a complete register and not a substitute for checking the official funding catalogues yourself. A programme can be missed because a publisher changed a format, because a source was unavailable, because a programme was filed under a classification we did not expect, or because our matching judged it irrelevant when it was not.

Always verify a deadline and the eligibility conditions at the source before you rely on them. Dates, amounts, eligibility conditions, contact details and documents shown in Grantlark are copies of what the publisher released at the time we read it. Publishers correct, extend and withdraw programmes, and a correction can reach us late or not at all. Every programme links to its original; that original governs.

Grantlark gives no legal, tax or funding advice, and no advice on how to apply. We are not a party to any funding procedure, we do not submit applications for you, and we have no relationship with the funding bodies whose programmes we show.

4. Who may use Grantlark

Grantlark is built for organisations looking for funding, and that is who most of our customers are. You may use it on behalf of a company, a public body or another organisation, as a sole trader or a freelancer, or as an individual. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into this agreement. If you use Grantlark for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

If you are a consumer, meaning a natural person acting mainly for purposes outside any trade, business or profession of your own, the law gives you rights that these Terms do not take away. Sections 10 and 11 set out your right of withdrawal. We apply those sections to anyone who asks for them, without requiring you to prove which you are. Nothing in these Terms limits a right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

5. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a password. You agree to give accurate information, to keep your password confidential, and to tell us at once if you believe someone else has reached your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

One account is for one organisation. Sharing a single account across separate businesses, or reselling access to your feed, requires our written agreement.

6. Acceptable use

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Grantlark to find funding for your own business. You must not:

  • Scrape, crawl or systematically extract the service or its matched feed by automated means.
  • Republish, resell or redistribute our matching, scoring or explanations as a product of your own.
  • Attempt to reach accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure.
  • Use Grantlark to send unsolicited commercial messages to contacts named in a funding programme.
  • Enter another person’s personal data into a company profile without a lawful basis for doing so.
  • Use the service for unlawful activity, or in breach of the terms of the funding catalogues whose programmes it shows.

We may investigate and, where warranted, suspend or close an account for a breach of this section.

7. Your content

Your company profile, your saved programmes, your feedback on matches and everything else you enter stay yours. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and process them strictly in order to run the service for you: to match programmes against your profile, to send your digest, and to show you your own data. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy.

We use feedback you give on a match to improve matching. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use your profile to train third-party AI models.

The service itself, including its software, design, matching logic and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. Programme text belongs to its publishers and is reproduced under their licence terms.

8. AI features

Grantlark uses AI models operated by third parties to judge whether a programme matches your profile and to explain why. The Privacy Policy names those providers.

AI output is provided as is. A relevance score and its explanation are an opinion produced by a model, not a finding of fact. They can be wrong in both directions: a relevant programme can be scored low, and an irrelevant one can be scored high with a convincing explanation. Read the programme itself, and its eligibility conditions, before you act on it.

9. Plans, term, payment and renewal

9.1 Monthly and annual plans. Grantlark has a free plan and paid plans. Each paid plan is sold either monthly or annually, and the annual price is lower than twelve monthly payments. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on our website and on your billing page before you pay. Which plan and which billing period you chose is shown at checkout, on your invoice, and on your billing page at any time. Prices are quoted in euro.

9.2 Monthly plans. A monthly plan runs for one month and renews automatically for one further month at a time until you cancel. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.

9.3 Annual plans: term and payment up front. An annual plan has a minimum term of twelve months beginning when your purchase is confirmed. The price for all twelve months falls due and is charged at that point. The lower annual price is the consideration for the twelve month term.

9.4 Annual plans: what happens at the end of the term. An annual plan does not renew into a second fixed twelve month term. At the end of your twelve months it continues automatically as a monthly plan at our then current monthly price, and from that point it works exactly as Section 9.2 describes: you can cancel at any time and it stops at the end of the month you have paid for. We tell you what the monthly price will be at least 30 days before your term ends, under 9.9. If you would rather commit to another year at the lower annual price, you can choose an annual plan again at any time.

9.5 Annual plans: stopping the renewal. You can stop the renewal at any time, up to and including the last day of the current term, on your billing page or by a clear statement to hello@grantlark.com. There is no notice period. Your plan then ends when the term you have paid for ends, and you keep full access until then.

9.6 No refund of a term that has started. Cancelling during a term does not end that term and does not give you back part of what you have paid for it. This does not affect:

  • the right of withdrawal in Section 10, if you are a consumer;
  • your right to terminate for good cause under section 314 of the German Civil Code;
  • our undertakings in Section 12 and Section 13, under which we refund the unused part of a paid term if we materially reduce the service or withdraw it;
  • any mandatory legal right that cannot be excluded.

9.7 Changing plan during an annual term. You can move up to a higher plan at any time. It takes effect at once, we charge the difference for the months remaining in the current term, and the term itself does not restart. A move down to a lower plan, and a move from an annual plan to a monthly plan, take effect at the end of the current twelve month term; we do not refund the difference for that term. A move from a monthly plan to an annual plan can be made at any time and starts a new twelve month term.

9.8 Price changes. We may change prices for future terms. A price change never takes effect inside a term you have already paid for. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before the start of the next term, so that you have time to stop the renewal if you do not want to continue at the new price. The next term begins at the new price only if you have not cancelled by then.

9.9 Reminder before an annual renewal. At least 30 days before the end of a twelve month term we will email you to say that the plan is about to renew, on what date, what the price will then be, and how to stop the renewal if you do not want it.

9.10 Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, under Stripe’s terms and privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.

9.11 Prices, VAT and invoices. The prices we show are total prices. They include VAT where VAT applies, so the amount you see is the amount you pay, and it is the same in every country. If you are a business in an EU member state other than Germany and you give us a VAT identification number that we can confirm is valid, your invoice is issued under the reverse charge procedure and shows no German VAT; the price is unchanged. We need your billing address before a subscription can start, and your VAT identification number if you want to be invoiced under the reverse charge procedure, because the law requires both your number and ours to appear on that invoice. Your invoices are available on your billing page.

9.12 Our 14 day money back promise on annual plans. This is something we offer on top of your legal rights, not instead of them.

If you buy an annual plan and tell us within 14 days of your purchase being confirmed that you do not want to keep it, we refund everything you paid for that term and we deduct nothing for the days you used. You do not have to give a reason. Tell us on your billing page or by email to hello@grantlark.com.

We pay the refund without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your request, using the same means of payment you used, at no cost to you. Your subscription ends when we refund it, and your access ends at that point.

The promise applies to the first twelve month term of an annual plan, once per customer. It does not apply to a renewal term, and it does not apply to monthly plans, which you can simply cancel under 9.2.

How this differs from your legal rights. If you are a consumer you also have a statutory right of withdrawal, set out in Section 10, and nothing here limits it or replaces it. The difference is that when you withdraw under Section 10 the law allows us to keep a proportionate amount for the days you have already used, and under this promise we keep nothing. If you are a business you have no statutory right of withdrawal, so this promise is the whole of what you have. You can rely on whichever is better for you.

10. Right of withdrawal for consumers

The statutory right of withdrawal applies to consumers rather than to businesses. If you are a consumer, the following applies to you. Separately from this statutory right, clause 9.12 gives you a money back promise on annual plans which is more generous in one respect: we deduct nothing for the days you used.

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period is 14 days from the day the contract was concluded, which is the day your purchase is confirmed.

How to withdraw. Inform us by a clear statement, for example an email or a letter sent by post, at:

Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt)

Belziger Str. 69-71

10823 Berlin

Germany

Email: hello@grantlark.com

You may use the model form in Section 11, but you do not have to; any clear statement is enough. Sending it before the 14 days expire is sufficient to meet the deadline.

When the right ends early. Grantlark starts working for you as soon as your purchase is confirmed: your profile is matched against every programme published from that moment. Before you pay we ask you to agree that we may begin straight away, and to confirm that you understand you lose the right of withdrawal once we have fully performed. If you do not agree to that, do not complete the purchase; write to us and we will arrange a start at the end of the 14 days instead.

If you withdraw after we have begun but before performance is complete, the law says you owe us a proportionate amount for what you received up to the point you told us, and we refund the rest. On an annual plan we do not take that deduction: under clause 9.12 we refund everything you paid for the term and keep nothing for the days you used.

Effects of withdrawal. We reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision, using the same means of payment you used, at no fee to you.

11. Model withdrawal form

You only need this if you want to use it. Complete it and send it back to us.

To Laddro Digital UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Belziger Str. 69-71, 10823 Berlin, Germany, hello@grantlark.com:

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the provision of the following service: a Grantlark subscription.

Ordered on:

Name of consumer:

Address of consumer:

Date:

Signature (only needed if this form is sent on paper):

12. Changes to price and service

We may change prices. For a running subscription we give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the application, and the new price applies from the billing period after that notice. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before it takes effect.

Funding catalogues change their formats, their licences and their availability, and some may stop being usable. If a source we advertise becomes unavailable for an extended period we will tell you, and if the change materially reduces what you pay for you may cancel with effect from that point and we will refund the unused part of the period.

13. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Grantlark at any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, write to hello@grantlark.com; there is no self-service delete button yet, and we act on the request within 30 days. Cancelling a paid plan on the billing page ends the subscription but keeps the account.

We may suspend or close an account, without notice where the circumstances require it, if you breach these Terms, if your use puts the service or other customers at risk, if the law requires it, or if we withdraw the service. If we withdraw the service we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.

14. Availability

We work to keep Grantlark available but do not promise a particular uptime. Maintenance, third-party outages and problems at the source portals can interrupt the service or delay a digest.

15. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express, implied or statutory. In particular we do not warrant that the matched feed is complete or accurate, that a programme shown is still open, that AI output is correct, that the service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that defects will be corrected.

Nothing here excludes or limits anything that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies to you, including EU and German consumer protection law.

16. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damage, nor for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or lost business opportunity. That expressly includes a funding programme you did not see, a programme you saw late, a deadline you missed, an application you did not submit, and funding you did not receive.

Our total liability for all claims under or relating to these Terms is limited to the greater of one hundred euro and the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to the claim.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under the law, including liability for intent or gross negligence under German law, liability for injury to life, body or health, and liability under the German Product Liability Act.

17. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts of Berlin have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rule that lets you bring proceedings where you live.

We are not obliged to take part in proceedings before a consumer arbitration body and generally do not.

18. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the service.
  • Severability. If a provision is invalid, the rest stands.
  • No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights without our written agreement. We may transfer ours, for example in a sale of the business, and will tell you if we do.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control, including a third-party outage.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. For a material change we give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the application before the new version applies. Continuing to use Grantlark after that date means you accept it.

20. Language

These Terms are published in several languages so that you can read them in your own. The English version is the authoritative one: if there is a difference in meaning between the English text and a translation, the English text applies. Nothing in this section affects a right you have under the law of your country to rely on the language in which we dealt with you.
