Incentivi.gov.it

Incentivi.gov.it is the catalogue the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy keeps of incentives available to businesses - national measures alongside the schemes each of the twenty regions runs itself. Italian business support is unusually regional, and this is the one place both layers are listed together.

Italy: national schemes and all twenty regions

Most of it is regional, and that is easy to miss

A company in Lombardy and a company in Puglia are offered substantially different money, and the national measures everyone has heard of are only part of what is open. Because the regional schemes are tagged by region here, a profile can be matched against the layer that actually applies to where you are - which a search of the national headlines never surfaces.

EU calls and national programmes

An EU call is published once, centrally, and is open to applicants across the member states. National and regional funding is published by each country instead, in its own register and its own language - the Förderdatenbank in Germany, the BDNS in Spain, Incentivi.gov.it in Italy, and so on. Most of the money a smaller company can realistically apply for is national or regional rather than EU wide, which is why the national registers are the larger part of this list.
